Working at United Nations Association in Canada

While pursuing my double honors in Human Rights and Sociology at Carleton University, I was given the opportunity to complete some credits through a placement at United Nations Association in Canada. I was fortunate enough to have been given part in two projects, “Healthy Children, Healthy Communities” and “A Sense of Belonging.” Both projects were interesting and challenged me to work, research and experience something completely new. My supervisors trusted my ability in writing, researching and editing enough to grant me some work with the projects (some of which, i wound up receiving acknowledgments for). I feel blessed to have been given the chance that I was, and would gladly go back and do it all over again.

Some of the work that I got the opportunity to be a part of can be seen here. This was a action toolkit compiled by “Healthy Children, Healthy Communities.”
