Protein Crepes

What you’ll need
Protein powder of your choice
Almond milk
2 eggs
Steel cut oats (preferably blend them first, but I didn’t)
Ground cinnamon
Natural maple syrup or agave nectar
Mixed berries

Eggplant ‘n Turkey Fiesta

What you need

Medium sized eggplant
Minced lean turkey (the more meat the merrier)
Minced garlic cloves (1-2)
Diced mushrooms, just a handful
About 1/4 cup diced red onions
Spinach
Fresh coriander(to garnish)
Tomato paste/ pasta sauce (low sodium)
Fresh tomato

Being Injured

There is no great way of hearing about an injury. Especially when they are severe. No matter how it phrased or presented, lets just admit it. It fucking sucks. Why I Powerlift

Not too long ago, I began to truly identify as a powerlifter and desired to be in the league of some of the greats in the sport.

While I prepped for a competition a few weeks ago, something unexpected happened. I wound up with a serious back injury keeping from even lifting a grocery bag for a few weeks. I could barely stand, sitting felt like torture and laying down, while helpful, made me feel useless. (more…)
